Paulo Coelho was born on 1947 in Rio de Janerio, Brasil. He's family was of a intermidate level social with a strong catolic influence. He studied in a jesuit college that impose a strong discipline so, he turned a rebel. At the age of seventeen Paulo was intern in a psychiatrist clinic. Around 1960, Paulo belong to a hippie group, he leave his studies and started to travel around Perú, Bolivia, Chile and México, as Europa and the north of África. Two years later he returned to Brasil and started to compose some sing letters. In 1974, Paulo was bold for a short time in a militar torture center for conspire to the brasilian goverment. In 1987, he crossed the Road to Santiagon, between France and Spain. This experience inspire him to write his first hit book "El Peregrino de Compostela". Paulo sold 65 millions of books around the world, with translations in more than 60 languages. In 1988, he published "El Alquimista" one of the most sold books around the world.
Santiago's Road

Paulo Cohelo described the Road to Santiago in his book"El Peregrino de Compostela". This road has an interesting route around of 800 Km that you can cross in one month. In 1986 the writer went on a pilgrimage for 90 days.
"El Peregrino de Compostela" is an exciting story that tell the events of the pilgrimage of Paulo Coelho around the Road to Santiago. He had the company of a spiritual guide, Petrus a mysterious and enigmatic man. Paulo had to confront a lot of proofs and excercises, he knew some figures that set him in hardship about his determination and his faith. This guy is a genuis i love how he writes. He has this book that i dont really remember the name but it was so good that i finished it in 3 days.
